Rockville, Md., June 15, 2010 – VIVA Creative has been named the 2010 "Woman-Owned Business Contractor of the Year” and will be recognized by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). The award will be presented during the annual Small Business and AbilityOne Awards Ceremony held on June 16.
“When working with the USDA we expect businesses to be focused on customer satisfaction, competent and able to execute projects with fair and reasonably priced products,” said Vangelia Campbell, USDA contract specialist. “VIVA not only met those standards, but went above and beyond to ensure our event was a success. It is an outstanding company, and I was happy to nominate them and am thrilled that they have been selected for the award.”
“We were able to provide live meeting production and interpretive services in three languages to ensure attendees had real-time verbal and written translation and were able to fully participate in the program,” said Evan Chapman, VIVA president of virtual solutions.
“It has been always our goal to provide world class meeting and event support services that exceed our clients’ expectations,” said Emily Greene, CCO of VIVA Creative. “We are honored that the USDA is recognizing this work and we are proud to be a part of the Small Business and AbilityOne program.”
