VIVA Creative Attends ILEA D.C. Membership Drive Mixer

VIVA Creative, a global experiential communications agency in Rockville, attended the International Live Events Association (ILEA) Membership Drive Mixer at Right Proper Brewing Company in Washington D.C. on May 20, 2019.

Held by the Greater Washington D.C. Chapter, the Mixer hosted local professionals throughout the events and marketing industries who were current, new, and curious potential members of the organization. The Mixer allowed VIVA to “talk with other members about their first-hand experiences and discover how this global community of creative event professionals can help … achieve [their] goals,” according to the event website.

The networking event was attended by other big-name D.C. organizations, including the annual National Cherry Blossom Festival, George Mason University, and Americans for the Arts. As a guest, VIVA Creative networked with multiple pros from event technology, including audio and software, planning, and more.

In-between swapping business cards and LinkedIn profiles, VIVA discussed their Event Metrics Innovation Research Study. The goal of this research study is to digest information about how event professionals use or don’t use metrics to improve their events via a quick, anonymous survey.

VIVA plans to put this information into tangible statistics and to provide valuable solutions to improve the practice of event metrics for all professionals on a global scale.
