VIVA Creative Produces Inaugural “Congressional Record” Event

A Bipartisan Musical Celebration at the U.S. Capitol

VIVA Creative was proud to serve as the official production partner for the first annual Congressional Record event—a groundbreaking evening of music, creativity, and bipartisan collaboration.

Hosted by leading cultural institutions including the Kennedy Center, Roll Call, Library of Congress, and The Recording Academy, this inaugural celebration brought together members of the Congressional Musicians Caucus and the Congressional Arts Caucus to highlight the essential role of the arts in American culture, education, and civic life.

An Evening of Music and Meaning

The event featured live performances by bipartisan members of Congress and appearances by renowned artists and advocates for arts education. Designed as an evening of unity and purpose, the program underscored how creativity can bridge divides and inspire progress.

VIVA’s Role

VIVA partnered with the Congressional Record team in the creative design of the event and managed audiovisual production, lighting, video content, and concert-quality music production. With more than two decades of experience producing large-scale events and performances for brands and icons such as Honda, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Oprah Winfrey, VIVA brought both artistic and technical mastery to one of Washington’s most historically significant venues.

Producing a live concert experience within the U.S. Capitol presented unique creative and logistical challenges. Yet for VIVA, it represented a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to blend artistry, storytelling, and diplomacy in a space symbolic of national unity. The company’s production team approached the project with the same precision and imagination that have defined VIVA’s work for global stages—from concerts with artists such as Katy Perry, Andrea Bocelli, Yo-Yo Ma, and Alicia Keys, to large-scale corporate and cultural events.
