Immersive VR Driving Destination Demand

To elevate awareness of Great Stirrup Cay among cruise media and influencers, Norwegian Cruise Line partnered with VIVA Creative to deploy a high-impact virtual reality platform that delivered the island experience directly to key stakeholders—without the cost or logistics of physical travel.

VIVA developed a fully immersive 360-degree digital environment that allowed participants to explore the 268-acre Bahamian destination in detail, highlighting signature amenities, expansion plans, and experiential differentiators. Designed with clear engagement objectives, the experience provided media with compelling, first-person content that translated into richer storytelling and broader coverage.

Captured on location with advanced production technology, the VR program became a scalable marketing asset—extending destination visibility, supporting trade engagement, and accelerating interest in sailings that feature Great Stirrup Cay. By leveraging immersive technology, NCL amplified reach while maintaining cost efficiency, turning a single activation into a reusable tool for sustained promotional impact.
